Career History: Marty began his working life as an engineer and after a few years decided to go into what he knew he could excel in - selling beer. For a number of years Marty peddled Steinlager for Lion Nathan all around the U.S. While living in the U.S Marty met a San Diego based fishing rod manufacturer Richard Kantner who planted the seed for Composite Developments NZ. Richard is still a shareholder of Composite Developments to this day. Marty has been running Composite Developments for over 28 years and is still yet to receive a gold watch!?
