Composite Developments (NZ) Ltd was founded by husband and wife team, Marty and Sue Johanson, alongside U.S.A. based partner Richard Kantner in 1981.

Today, Composite Developments (NZ) Ltd not only produces some of the finest fishing rods to a global customer base, but is also the proud New Zealand distributor of select international fishing and hunting brands including; Okuma, Savage Gear, Pakula, Perfect Image and many more.
